Abstract

Este trabalho é uma atualização resumida do trabalho de projeções do agronegócio Mundial e Brasil que tem sido feita pelo Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento (MAPA) nestes últimos quatro anos. O período do estudo é 2007/2008 a 2017/2018. O trabalho de projeções tem por objetivo fornecer subsídios aos formuladores de políticas públicas quanto as principais tendências de produtos agropecuários, para a tomada de decisão e para o delineamento de linhas de atuação, embasando e fortalecendo os instrumentos de política agrícola nacionais. Para o setor privado a importância do trabalho se dá no sentido de indicar como o governo visualiza o futuro das principais cadeias do agronegócio, além de oferecer os resultados das projeções a partir dos quais são tomadas as decisões no âmbito privado.-----------------------------This paper presents a summary of Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply report about agribusiness projections, made by this Ministry in the last four years. The projections report has the objective of guide government and private sector in decision process. Models of projections were estimated on brazilian database of production, consumption, exports, imports, yield and area. But we did not presents all these results because there is a restriction of space. The period projections is 2007/08 to 2017/2018, and the principal source of information is Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento- CONAB.
