Abstract

A teoria Geral dos Sistemas (Bertalanffy, 1968) e a Teoria dos Sistemas Sociais (Loomis, 1960) podem ser usadas para explicar as relações à nível das comunidades tradicionais na Amazônia entre as ciências sociais e as ciências naturais ou as relações do homem com a natureza, inclusive como decisões tomadas envolvem o uso de tecnologia para explorar os recursos naturais. O presente trabalho aclara essa relação e oferece as dimensões e variáveis que podem ser usadas em verificação empíricas, tanto à luz da Ecologia Complexa (Morin, 1980) como da Sociologia Complexa (Alexander, 1998).----------------The General Theory of Sistems (Bertalanffy, 1968) and the The Social Systems Theory (Loomis, 1960) are used to explain the relationship between social sciences and natural sciences or the relationship between Man and nature. Both Theories also can be used to explain how traditional community in the Amazon region, ”make and take” decision on technology to be utilized in the surrounding natural resoures. The paper discuss, also social and natural dimensions and variables that can be used analyse at empirical ground such relations.
