Políticas De Seguridad Alimentaria Recientes En América Latina

Abstract

Este artículo hace un análisis sobre la evolución reciente que han tenido las políticas de seguridad alimentaría en América Latina. Así mismo, pretende mostrar la naturaleza de estas políticas y aportar nuevos elementos para discutir sus limitaciones y potencialidades. El orden de los secciones corresponde a distintos niveles de determinación que operan en las políticas de seguridad alimentaría. En la primera sección se discutirá el tema de las jerarquías la acción del Estado y de las políticas sociales. Se abordará el proceso de regulación social y el rol del Estado, pudiéndose evaluar los límites políticos a las acciones sociales En la segunda sección, se profundizará en la política de seguridad alimentaría como tal. Para esto se mostrará tanto su crecimiento reciente en términos de programas y recursos estatales como su naturaleza social bajo un contexto de desarrollo capitalista. Por último, son presentadas algunas conclusiones.------------------------------------------------------------------------------This article makes an analysis on the recent evolution of the food security policies in Latin America. Also, it tries to show the nature of these policies and to contribute new elements to discuss to his limitations and potentialities. The order of the sections corresponds to different levels of determination that operate in the food security policies. In the first section the action of the State and the social policies will be discussed to the subject of the hierarchies. It will approach the process of social regulation and the roll of the State, having been able to evaluate the political limits to the social actions. In the second section, it will be deepened in the food security policy. For this it will be showed the recent growth of the region in terms of programs and state resources of social nature under a capitalist context of development. Finally, there are some conclusions.
