Abstract

O artigo apresenta dados que mostram a importância do agronegócio para a geração de superávits na conta de comércio exterior brasileiro. Apresenta também quais produtos do agronegócio têm maior participação no desempenho do setor. Objetiva, nesse sentido, contribuir para o debate acerca da perspectiva do saldo comercial brasileiro ficar cada vez mais dependente das exportações do agronegócio e de setores com menor conteúdo tecnológico. The paper presents data that shows the importance of the agribusiness for the generation of superavits in the Brazilian foreign trade. It presents also which products of the agribusiness have bigger participation in the performance of the sector. It aims, in that sense, contribute for the debate about the perspective of the Brazilian trade balance stayed more and more dependent of the exportations of the agribusiness and of sectors with smaller technological content.
