Abstract

dans d’autres zones sahéliennes de l’Afrique de l’Ouest, les céréales sont cultivées dans des champs gérés collectivement et individuellement par les membres de l’exploitation agricole familiale (EAF). L’EAF est composée généralement de plusieurs ménages qui sont unis par des liens familiaux s’étendant sur plusieurs générations. C’est au chef d’exploitation (souvent le patriarche) a qui incombe la responsabilité de gérer l’EAF et plus particulièrement, d’allouer les terres et d’organiser la main-d’œuvre afin de satisfaire les besoins en aliments de base pour tous les membres.
