Política económica, industrialización y exportaciones de manufacturas en el Perú

Abstract

Este documento revisa el proceso de industrialización peruano a partir de los años cincuenta, desde la perspectiva de la evolución de su sesgo pro o antiexportador. Además, analiza la evolución de las políticas que afectaron la rentabilidad de la actividad exportadora en general y su efecto sobre las exportaciones de manufacturas, para lo cual se estima un modelo econométrico de oferta de exportaciones. Finalmente, se presenta una serie de simulaciones sobre la evolución futura de la balanza de pagos del país.
