Vermarktung von Milch aus kuhgebundener Kälberhaltung

Abstract

Kuhgebundene Kälberaufzucht ist eine Form der Milchviehhaltung, bei der auf die Trennung von Kuh und Kalb unmittelbar nach der Geburt verzichtet wird. Bisher liegen keine Informationen vor, wie die Milchviehbetriebe Milch aus diesem System vermarkten. Deshalb wurden bundesweit 45 Landwirte, die kuhgebundene Aufzucht praktizieren, in Form von qualitativen Interviews befragt. Lediglich fünf der Betriebe kennzeichneten ihre Produkte mit dem Hinweis, dass es sich um Milch aus kuhgebundener Kälberaufzucht handelt. Ihre erzielten Erlöse unterschieden sich je nach Vertriebsweg allerdings nicht von den Erlösen anderer Landwirte. Die höchsten Erlöse wurden durch Direktvermarktung, die niedrigsten durch die Abgabe an Molkereien erzielt.
