Korrektiv Der Verantwortung Von Verbrauchern Für Lebensmittelabfälle: Geplante Obsoleszenz Bei Lebensmitteln?

Abstract

Geplante Obsoleszenz bei Lebensmitteln ist kaum erforscht und in der Literatur selten thematisiert. Im Lebensmittelbereich haben sich die Begriffe „Verschwendung“ sowie fehlende „Wertschätzung“ etabliert. Beide setzen vor allem am Verbraucher als Hauptverantwortlichen für überflüssige Lebensmittelabfälle an. Auf Basis einer Expertenbefragung wird der Relevanz des Themas und Begriffs Obsoleszenz bei Lebensmitteln nachgegangen. Die Rolle der Verbraucher wird dabei korrigierend neben die anderen Akteure der Wertschöpfungskette eingeordnet. Das Mindesthaltbarkeitsdatum gilt als Haupttreiber mit Regelungsbedarf.
