Abstract

Dieser Beitrag verwendet ein Multiplikatives Wettbewerbsinteraktionsmodell (MCI - Multiplicative Competitive Interaction), eine bekannte Analysemethode in der Marketingforschung, um Änderungen der Farmspezialisierungen im Laufe der Zeit zu erklären. Die Farmspezialisierungsänderungen sind als Veränderungen der Standardbruttogewinnanteile (Standard Gross Margin (SGM) shares) erfasst. Das Modell nutzt FADN-Daten deutscher Landwirtschaftsbetriebe für die Jahre 1989 bis 2007. Zwei MCI-Modelle wurden entwickelt. Das erste Modell nutzt verzögerte Standardbruttogewinnanteile als erklärende Variablen, das zweite Modell zusätzlich weitere erklärende Variablen, welche mithilfe einer Backward-Elimination ermittelt wurden. Der Erklärungsgehalt des Modells mit zusätzlichen erklärenden Variablen verbesserte sich mäßig.
