Nahrung Vs. Energie – Analyse Der Konkurrenzbeziehungen

Abstract

Durch zahlreiche Gesetzestexte oder Richtlinien sowohl auf europäischer als auch nationaler Ebene gelang es in den letzten Jahren den Anbau von Energiebiomasse zu forcieren. Aufgrund aktueller Entwicklungen auf den Agrar- und Energiemärkten kommt es nun verstärkt zur Konkurrenz zwischen der Nahrungsmittel- und der Energieproduktion um den knappen Faktor Boden. Ein weiterer Ausbau der Bioenergieproduktion auf Basis von Biomasse führt zu einer Verdrängung der auf Lebensmittelproduktion ausgerichteten Landwirtschaft. Die Folgen für die regionale Wirtschaft können deshalb nicht nur als positiv bewertet werden. Sowohl der Arbeitkraftbedarf als auch die Wertschöpfung kann sich in der Region in Folge einer Verdrängung arbeitsintensiver Veredelungsketten verringern.
