Situacion Nematologica En El Cultivo De Frijol En El Valle De San Juan De La Maguana

Abstract

La presencia de los nemétodos en el Valle de San Juan de la Maguana, Region Suroeste de la Repûblica Dominicana, esté provocando danos aparentes en el cultivo del frijol (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). Con el propôsito de determinar los géneros de nemétodos asociados al cultivo, su porcentaje y frecuencia de apariciôn, se llevô a cabo un reconocimiento nematolôgico en esta region. Las raices fueron procesadastutilizando el método de la licuadora mâsembudode Baermann y para el suelo, se uso el método del lustreador de Fenuct. Luego se procediô al conteo e identification de los géneros de nemétodos aparecidos. Los resultados de las evaluaciones advierten la presencia de 10 géneros de nemétodos asociados al cultivo del frijol: Tylenchus spp., Psilenchus spp., Ditylenchus spp., Criconemoides spp., Rotylenchus spp., Meloidogyne spp., Tylenchorhynchus spp., Pratylenchus spp., Trichodorus spp., y Aphe/enchus spp. De los géneros anteriores Meloidogyne spp. presentô mayor porcentaje de incidencia en suelo y raices. Los porcentajes de la incidencia en suelo y raices respectivamente en las zonas evaluadas fueron: La Culata 38.0% y 67.8 %, La Horca 50. 9 %y 82.4 % , la Cuenca 27.2% y 59.3 % En la zona de Manoguabo, Rotylenchus spp. presentô 29. 3% de incidencia en el suelo con relation a los demés géneros de nemétodos.
