Abstract

This report briefly describes a number of spatial planning projects which take into account the demands of nature conservancy legislation. It identifies a number of best practices which are important for the permit procedure of the revised Nature Conservancy Act 1998. The study forms the input for the Checklist of the amended Nature Conservancy Act 1998, which LEI developed on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. The report constitutes a background document with the checklist.
