Abstract

Input output analysis has become an : increasingly popular tool, of economic researchers. This popularity is well founded because I/0 analysis allows the researcher explicitly consider the complex economic interrelationships which characterize modern economic systems. Unfortunately one of the hazards of popularity of a research technique is a tendency to lose sight its limitations and underlying assumptions.
