Impacto de la cuarta revolución industrial en el empleo y en la distribución del ingreso

Abstract

El trabajo constituye una revisión de literatura orientada a identificar algunas tendencias recientes en el mercado de trabajo y vincularlas con el proceso de cambio tecnológico enmarcado dentro de la denominada Cuarta Revolución Industrial. La literatura identifica dos grandes tendencias en el mercado de trabajo; polarización del empleo y salarios y pérdida de participación del trabajo en el producto. Estos fenómenos tienen entre sus variables explicativas a distintos impactos de la Cuarta Revolución Industrial, como la robotización de la producción, la penetración de las tecnologías de la información y la digitalización de la economía. A partir de estos hechos se revisan recomendaciones de política.
