Impacto distributivo de la seguridad social en la Argentina en el período 1998-2019

Abstract

La crisis provocada por el COVID-19 a nivel mundial ha tenido un impacto significativo en los ingresos de los hogares, y en gran medida ha contribuido a una reconsideración del rol del Estado y de la importancia de la política pública para mitigar en esos hogares el impacto de la pobreza y la desigualdad. En este sentido, el gasto en seguridad social como principal componente del gasto en los estados modernos, cobra una particular relevancia. Este documento realiza un análisis del impacto distributivo de las políticas de seguridad social en Argentina durante los últimos veinte años.
