Abstract
O presente artigo esboça uma analise de trinta anos de história agrária goiana (1930-1960), fase marcada por mudanças significativas nas relações cidade-campo no Brasil. A industrialização do Sudeste estimulou a expansão da fronteira agrícola para o Centro-Oeste e integrou a economia agrária regional ao mercado. Neste período, a agropecuária goiana ampliou sua inserção na divisão inter-regional do trabalho e se especializou como atividade complementar da economia urbano-industrial de São Paulo.
