Abstract

In diesem Beitrag wird das künstlerische Forschen via Arts-Based Research (ABR) erläutert. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Methode, bei der Wissen mithilfe von Kunst (re)produziert wird. ABR-Formate setzen auf die sinnliche Erfahrbarkeit sowie öffentliche und jargonfreie Zugänglichkeit des Vermittlungsmediums Kunst. Vorgestellt wird die Anwendung der ABR im Rahmen einer Studie über suburbane Lebenswelten. Das hierbei produzierte Kunstwerk stellt ein Ergebnis des Forschungsprozesses dar und dient der Rezeption und Reflexion des Forschungsgegenstandes (über Leg- und Lesarten) mit dem Ziel, Perspektiven von Forscher und Prozessbeteiligten zu transformieren.
