Utjecaj gospodarskih ciklusa na razvoj malog otvorenog gospodarstva - primjer Hrvatske, Slovenije, Slovačke i Mađarske

Abstract

Gospodarska aktivnost u malim otvorenim gospodarstvima kao što je hrvatsko te ono u dijelu susjednih zemalja srednje i istočne Europe, u velikoj mjeri ovisi o makroekonomskoj situaciji u okruženju. Ranija su istraživanja ukazala na nedvojben utjecaj poslovnih, fi skalnih i monetarnih šokova razvijenih zemalja na susjedna, uglavnom mala i otvorena gospodarstva. Vodeći se rezultatima dosadašnjih analiza veličine i dubine eksternaliziranja promjena gospodarske zbilje i ekonomskih politika većih i snažnijih gospodarstava na manja i slabija gospodarstva koja im tradicionalno gravitiraju i s kojima su prije svega povezane trgovinskom razmjenom, možemo pretpostaviti kako pad potražnje u snažnijoj zemlji negativno utječe na izvoz manje zemlje čiji je ona važan trgovinski partner. Stoga je cilj ovog rada VAR metodom istražiti utjecaj prijenosa šokova potražnje i fi skalnih šokova odabranih zemalja Europske unije na izvoz i BDP Hrvatske. Primjenom jednake metodologije na Sloveniju, Slovačku i Mađarsku ispitala se legitimnost generaliziranja dobivenih rezultata. Rezultati upućuju na osjetljivost malih otvorenih gospodarstava srednje i istočne Europe na eksterne šokove potražnje, dok su se iste pokazale otporne na fi skalni šok Njemačke.
