Abstract

The previous three chapters have discussed the differences between the “Old and New normal,” restructuring the relationship between the government and the market and the approach to liberalize interest rates. The next three chapters will focus on the transformation of monetary policy framework by the central bank under the “New Normal.” This framework consists of objectives, instruments and the transmission mechanism, which will be elaborated in the following three chapters.
