Abstract

Siem Reap boasts Cambodia’s Angkor Wat historical monument. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992, Angkor Wat attracts over two million tourists annually. With about 60% of tourists to Cambodia visiting Siem Reap, the Government decided that tourism in the Siem Reap region is the key sector to lead Cambodia’s economic growth.
