Abstract

Stagnation of the world economy and resultant financial and economic crises can be avoided, but the insiders who control the world's governments fail to take the necessary actions. They fail to do so because they are profiting personally from the imperfections in the current system, do not hesitate to lie, are derelict in their duty, and lack the resolve to see beyond the tip of their noses. They are willfully ignorant in the root sense they ignore what they don't want to see, creating a governmental age of ignorance. This chapter shows that the behavior of insiders toward the problems of the global economy mirrors their behavior toward other problems of public concern including poverty, climate change, health care, and needed national economic transitions.
