Abstract

The value of trade between China and Latin American countries grew from US$10 billion in 2000 to US$140 billion in 2008. China and Brazil have strong mutual ties and a long history of peace and acceptance. The Chinese community living in Brazil is enormous and well integrated with Brazil's multiracial and multicultural society. Chinese are recognized as hard workers, having set up many businesses in the last 50 years…
