Abstract

The Qin and Han Dynasties witnessed China becoming unified and further establishing a centralized feudal empire, thereby turning over a new page in China’s national history. China’s outbound development gradually accelerated with the development of its feudal economy and national power. The overland and seaway connections between the Chinese feudal government and foreign countries and nations became active in politics as well as economy. The gradual intervention of the feudal government in foreign trade became more extensive, thus further stimulating material exchanges.
