Abstract

The Corporate Education System is an important strategic tool for promoting the development of skills essential for the job market. However, this chapter discusses the context of network learning, specifically the contemporary model of the corporate education system, named Networked Corporate University (NCU). This model develops a continuing education environment that manages and institutionalizes networked learning. It is composed of eight guidelines that determine the degree of alignment of the organization with the model. The aim of this research is to propose the criteria for the assessment of the maturity of the NCU model. To achieve this objective, the qualitative approach of exploratory and descriptive purposes was chosen through a narrative bibliographic review. The results describe eight criteria of the maturity of the NCU, comprising Governance, Reach, Stakeholder Recognition, Interconnection, Technology, Focus, Level, and Knowledge Management (KM) and Governance. For each criterion, specific indicators have been developed, measured from the lowest to the highest scales, for monitoring the adherence the organizations to the NCU guidelines. These criteria support the development of Knowledge Governance (KGov) and Organizational Learning Governance (LGov) aligned to the NCU model.
