Abstract

There has been an increased favoritism towards formation of Regional Trading arrangement in recent days. An interesting dimension that got added is the inclusion of service chapter in these regional initiatives for liberalization. The present paper addresses this issue to analyze the trend and rationale behind this emerging dimension of RTAs along with its implications for the multilateral trading system.
