Abstract

Applying innovation theory and capability theory, this book offers a new concept and framework through a systems theory lens on the issue of how companies can evolve capabilities that will achieve strategic innovation (SI) in response to the impacts of advanced ICT on corporate management, and provides new knowledge through in-depth case studies and qualitative empirical studies of global corporations.This chapter presents new implications and future research issues which the concepts and frameworks presented in this book raise in regard to systems theory and strategic management.
