Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel werden die verschiedenen Wertschöpfungsarchitekturen von Plattformen näher erläutert: Steigerung der Effizienz/Senkung der Kosten, Bereitstellung einer großen Auswahl, Schaffung von Gemeinschaften und Verringerung der Reibung bei Transaktionen (Verringerung der Transaktions- und Bürokratiekosten). Diese Wertschöpfungsmöglichkeiten ermöglichen die Schaffung von vier zentralen Werten von Plattformen – Discovery, also Entdeckung (Verringerung der Suchkosten); Matching, also Abstimmung (Zwei-Wege-Suche auf der Grundlage bestimmter Kriterien); Transaktion (Verringerung der Transaktionskosten und der Reibung auf den Märkten) und Evaluation, also Bewertung (Schaffung von Feedback-Schleifen zur Verbesserung der Qualität und zur Unterstützung einer besseren Entdeckung); mit anderen Worten: DMTE als Kreislauf.
