Abstract

Zusammenfassung Gemeinsamer Wohlstand war das Sozialprogramm, ein Zwilling der Maßnahmen, die das Wachstum der Plattformunternehmen einschränkten. Es war ein „geschmeidiger“ Slogan, der eine Reihe von Maßnahmen um ein gemeinsames Thema bündeln sollte und der sowohl die Regierungsbürokratie als auch den einfachen chinesischen Bürger ansprechen sollte. Er wurde jedoch weithin als eine historische Verbindung zur Zeit der Kulturrevolution wahrgenommen, als die Ideologie das Privatleben dominierte. In diesem Kapitel werden die historischen Wurzeln des Gemeinsamen Wohlstands, seine politische Funktion als populistische Kampagne für Xi Jinping und die Gründe dafür, warum er wahrscheinlich keine großen Auswirkungen auf das Leben der chinesischen Bürger haben wird, erörtert. Doch gerade weil er relativ kostengünstig ist und sich bei seiner Umsetzung auf die Macht der Partei stützt, wird er wahrscheinlich in absehbarer Zukunft fortgesetzt.
