Applied Solutions for Launching Autonomous Agricultural Production Based on AgroTech and Their Contribution to Sustainable Innovation in Agribusiness

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to identify the contribution of AgroTech to sustainable innovation in agribusiness in the context of the pandemic and the COVID-19 crisis, as well as to develop the applied solutions for launching autonomous agricultural production based on AgroTech to maximize its mentioned contribution. The research is carried out by regression analysis using the example of the top 10 agribusinesses in the Forbes rating of 2021, representing 10 of the world’s leading agrarian economies. As a result, the significant contribution of AgroTech to the sustainable (possible growth of 1,515.73% on average) and innovative (possible growth of 6.15% on average) development of agribusiness is justified. The concept was developed and based on the experience of the Sustainable Development Consortium and Technological Leadership, applied solutions were proposed for launching autonomous agricultural production based on AgroTech, which allows maximizing its contribution to the sustainable and innovative development of the agribusiness. The benefits of autonomous agricultural production based on AgroTech are accelerated growth, increased yields, targeted and improved nutritional properties.
