Abstract

Prefabricated construction (PC) has been recognized as the popular research field in the last few decades. However the bibliometric analysis of existing prefabrication field is insufficient. Especially, there is a lack of comprehensive bibliometric analysis of prefabrication, because most of literature review papers focus on the management of prefabrication. In this study, all literature related to prefabricated construction are included such as: material, mechanics and management in order to provide entire insights to this field. The bibliometric analysis is employed to critically evaluate 1480 articles published during 1966–2018 and identify the top influential authors, contributing organizations and journals related to the PC. Moreover, the most cited articles and keyword co-occurrence network analysis are obtained in network analysis. Future research directions were identified as well.
