Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel lenkt den Blick in die Unternehmen. Was können Arbeitgeber tun, was muss sich in den Betrieben verändern, um Frauen und vor allem Müttern mehr Führungspositionen zu ermöglichen, ohne dass sie ihr Familienleben vernachlässigen müssen? Es gilt, im Management einen nachhaltigen Fokus auf mehr Diversität in den Teams und vor allem auf mehr Frauen in Führungspositionen zu etablieren. Um beides zu fördern, sind zahlreiche Maßnahmen möglich, von denen einige diskutiert werden. Eine zentrale Rolle spielt etwa eine größere Flexibilität bei Arbeitszeit und Arbeitsort. Letztlich sollten vor allem die Ergebnisse zählen und nicht die Zahl der geleisteten Arbeitsstunden oder gar nur, wie lange jemand im Betrieb anwesend ist.
