Abstract

Beyond artificial intelligence and the digital transformation, the corporate world continues to revolve around your core business. Is your business profitable? Do global price wars increase? Do we need to undercut competitors’ prices? Must we improve our process efficiency and reduce our costs? Then we have to redirect our attention now. Because this world is about efficiency instead of innovative new solutions. It is about top-down management and clear announcements in the organizational hierarchy. From the top, to the staff. This chapter summarizes the most important means and ways of distributing information in organizations. They are standard in large corporations for implementing strategies effectively and rolling them out across the organization. You already know this world. It has stood the test of time and gives us a sense of comfort. But even though we are at home in the management world of the red ocean, we take far too little advantage of the opportunities that communication in the hierarchy offers. For leaders, communication is often a tool that can run alongside the day-to-day management. A wasted potential... This chapter describes how internal communication of managers increases efficiency. It is about how your projects speed up, accelerate, reach and maintain top speed and finally hit the market. Your communication will be an important management tool in the red ocean. It just appears in a different nature than in the environment of revolutionary change. It pursues the goal of reducing reaction times and bringing people in companies to a common denominator in the shortest possible time: One company, one voice.
