Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wenn Urlaub durch extreme Naturereignisse oder Terroranschläge gestört wird, kümmern sich Touristikunternehmen um die Sicherheit ihrer Gäste. Dazu bedienen sie sich professioneller Krisenorganisationen mit Stabsstrukturen. So wird sichergestellt, dass in Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern und Behörden kein Gast im Stich gelassen wird. Struktur und Arbeitsweise der Stäbe orientieren sich an den speziellen Bedürfnissen der Unternehmen und bedienen sich an Elementen der Dienstvorschriften des Deutschen Bevölkerungsschutzes und des US-amerikanischen Incident Command Systems. Die Stäbe des Konzerns und der Tochterunternehmen arbeiten eng zusammen und einigen sich daher schon im Vorfeld auf kompatible Strukturen und Arbeitsweisen. Als Besonderheit gelten sogenannte Care Teams, die im Zielgebiet als Teil der Stabsstrukturen Gäste in besonderen Situationen betreuen.
