Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Terminus Industrie 4.0 (I4.0) ist aus einer Arbeitsgruppe der Forschungsunion zur Erarbeitung der Vision einer zukünftigen Industriegesellschaft unter Einfluss des Internets hervorgegangen. Insbesondere ist er von den Leitern dieser Gruppe Prof. Dr. Henning Kagermann, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Wolfgang Wahlster sowie Prof. Dr. W.-D. Lukas geprägt worden. (Die Forschungsunion ist eine vom BMBF eingerichtete Gruppe von Vertretern aus Forschung, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft zur Erarbeitung von Leitlinien für die High- Tech-Strategie der Bundesregierung gewesen, der auch der Verfasser angehörte).
