Abstract

Zusammenfassung Eine neue Arbeitsteilung (Partitionierung) als Ergebnis der Restrukturierung kann das Unternehmen bestmöglich bei der Erreichung seiner strategischen und operativen Ziele unterstützen. Bei der konkreten Ausgestaltung sollte die neue die Struktur an der Strategie des Unternehmens ausgerichtet werden. Im operativen Bereich sollte die neue Organisation um Themen und nicht um Personen gebaut werden. Darüber hinaus hängt der Erfolg der Restrukturierung von der richtigen Dimensionierung der Organisation im Hinblick auf die aktuellen und zukünftigen Herausforderungen ab. Eine entscheidende Fragstellung hierbei ist die Klärung des Make or Buy. In einer zunehmend arbeitsteiligen und spezialisierten Arbeitswelt kommt dem Management von aktuellen und zukünftigen Kernkompetenzen eine wichtige Bedeutung zu. Diese Kernkompetenzen dürfen keinesfalls außer Haus vergeben werden. Im Umkehrschluss können nicht vorhandene oder nicht rasch erschließbare Kernkompetenzen das Restrukturierungsvorhaben bereits im Ansatz stoppen oder eine realistische Anpassung der Restrukturierungsziele erforderlich machen.
