Abstract

Zusammenfassung Prozessmanagement ist so aktuell wie noch nie zuvor. Dies zeigt eine Studie im Auftrag der Gesellschaft für Organisation, die den Umsetzungsstand von Prozessorganisationen in deutschen Unternehmen untersuchte. Sie macht deutlich, dass – obwohl einer Prozessorganisation eine hohe Bedeutung beigemessen wird – die Umsetzung erst teilweise gelungen ist. Interessant ist, dass in kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen der Umsetzungsstand höher ist als in Großunternehmen, wo häufig noch funktionsbezogene Subkulturen vorherrschen und sich die Mitarbeiterzuordnung noch an Funktionen orientiert (Dombrowski et al., 2014). Deshalb ist zu vermuten, dass auch ein hoher Bedarf hinsichtlich der Anwendung von Instrumenten und Methoden des Prozessmanagements besteht.
