Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die digitale Transformation der Krankenhauslandschaft ist in vollem Gange. Mit dem KHZG wurde der lang benötigte Impuls zur Beschleunigung gegeben, auf dessen Grundlage die wachsenden Gesundheitsdatenbestände nun auch effektiver für die Forschung und Versorgungsentwicklung im Sinne eines lernenden Gesundheitssystems genutzt werden sollen. Auch die Krankenhäuser haben die Potenziale eines effektiven Health Data Managements erkannt und entwickeln sich zu stärker datengetriebenen Organisationen. Allerdings sind die Rahmenbedingungen hierfür bislang eher restriktiv. Um den Paradigmenwechsel hin zu einem lernenden System auch auf der Ebene der Krankenhäuser zu vollziehen, müssen daher vielfältige Handlungsfelder adressiert werden – Insbesondere die Schaffung eines nachhaltigen digitalen Fundaments, schlanke Datenerhebungsprozesse, ein verantwortungsvoller und vertrauensbildender Umgang mit Gesundheitsdaten, sichere Verarbeitungsumgebungen sowie effektive Governance-Strukturen.
