Abstract

Zusammenfassung Tatsachen wählen keine Partei und haben keine politische Farbe. Angesichts der vielen Ansichten und Meinungen ergab sich die Notwendigkeit, diese auf ihren Realitätsgehalt hin zu überprüfen. Der Einwand gegen Umfragen ist, dass bereits die Fragen selbst dem Ergebnis einer Umfrage eine Richtung geben können, und auch Multiple-Choice-Antworten haben ihre Grenzen. Die Aufzeichnung dessen, was jeder beobachten kann, schien der beste Weg zu sein, das Forschungsziel zu erreichen, nämlich die „Realität zu ermitteln“. Die Themen, auf die sich diese Beobachtung konzentrierte, beschränken sich auf die Themen, die in diesem Buch behandelt werden, und in mehreren Kapiteln wurde bereits auf die Ergebnisse der Forschung Bezug genommen. In manchen Fällen sind die Eindrücke schwer zu kategorisieren und in Zahlen auszudrücken.
