Abstract

Zusammenfassung Hierarchien und auf ihnen basierende Abteilungsstrukturen entwickelten sich in Unternehmen und anderen Organisationen unter den wirtschaftlichen Produktionsbedingungen und Bedürfnissen der letzten Jahrhunderte. In der Arbeitswelt der Digital Economy wandeln sich die Anforderungen an Strukturen und Prozesse von Organisationen radikal. Althergebrachte Formen der Zusammenarbeit unterschiedlicher Fachabteilungen in Projekten und Produktentwicklung sind in einer schnellen, vernetzten Arbeitswelt weder zeiteffektiv noch zeitgemäß. Die Zukunft gehört daher kross-funktionalen Expertenteams, die ad-hoc zur Lösung komplexer Herausforderungen gebildet werden. Diese Teams benötigen flexible Unterstützungsstrukturen und ihre Mitglieder neben fachlicher Expertise zusätzliche Fähigkeiten, um erfolgreich und effektiv miteinander zu arbeiten. Unternehmen, die sich heute darauf einstellen, werden in einer sich immer schneller verändernden Arbeitswelt einen enormen Wettbewerbsvorteil haben.
