Abstract

Do you know how TV programmes and films are produced, how public and private broadcasters work and why television as we know it today may soon no longer exist? The world of television is complex, this chapter helps you to understand the connections and to better classify future scenarios. Because the world of television is changing and so is the television market, which has to adapt to ever new challenges. Keyword: streaming. Here you will learn about the different ways of working of linear television and video-on-demand and also get a small foretaste of where the journey can still go.
