Abstract

What are media and why do they exist at all? In order to understand how the media work, it is necessary to take a look behind the scenes—I would like to give you this insight with this first chapter. Here you will learn principles about the world of the media, get to know the first economic principles and find out what the terms information and journalism are all about. Because here nothing is as simple as it seems and nothing could be more important for society today than stable media with a stable journalistic apparatus that acts independently and is aware of its important task. But it is just as important that people understand the ways in which this apparatus works, and I can help you with that.
