Abstract

Zusammenfassung Soziale Netzwerke wie LinkedIn, Instagram und Facebook sind populär. Das zeigt sich zunehmend in der Personalrekrutierung und -auswahl. Doch was erhoffen sich Recruiter:innen davon? Wie sinnvoll ist Cybervetting? Eignen sich soziale Netzwerke als valide Methode der Eignungsdiagnostik? In diesem Kapitel geben wir einen praxisorientierten Überblick über Chancen und Risiken zu Vorselektion mit sozialen Netzwerken. Wir zeigen Schlüsselpunkte der Diskussion um Cybervetting in Wissenschaft und Praxis auf und thematisieren Cybervetting als Beispiel, wie Digitalisierung und Onlineplattformen Unternehmensprozesse verändern.
