Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel soll die Verantwortung der wissenschaftlich Arbeitenden betonen. Wir können bei der Komplexität der Wissenschaft keine abschließenden Kriterien angeben, aber die Ethik als Werkzeug zur Verfügung stellen. Die Ausgangsfrage lautet: Wie kann man das in Kap. 3 geforderte Vertrauen schaffen? Ein wichtiger Aspekt dabei ist die Qualität. Qualität und Verantwortung haben zwei Aspekte: Was ist korrekt? Korrekte Ergebnisse sind Voraussetzung für die Forschung. Was ist richtig? Die Nutzung der Ergebnisse und deren Konsequenzen müssen normativ bewertet werden.
