Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im fünften Kapitel wird zunächst eine Zusammenstellung von Anforderungen an und Herausforderungen für den Schienengüterverkehr (SGV) den dafür hilfreichen Innovationen zugeordnet. Im Anschluss wird ausführlicher auf Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten der Produktionssysteme und auf eine Auswahl technologischer Innovationen eingegangen. Dies umfasst die Kupplungstechnologie (von der Schraubenkupplung zur digitalen automatischen Kupplung), die Bremstechnologie mit den Teilaspekten elektrische Bremsansteuerung und automatische Bremsprobe sowie das Thema Digitalisierung mit den Teilaspekten Telematik und Vernetzung verschiedener Systeme. Dabei steht jeweils die Beschreibung des Status quo und die daraus resultierenden Problemfelder ebenso im Fokus wie die Beschreibung des angestrebten, innovativen Zustandes.
