Abstract

Zusammenfassung Vereine und ehrenamtliche Organisationen stehen gerade in ländlichen Kommunen vor immensen Herausforderungen. Viele Vereine kämpfen damit, neue Engagierte zu finden und an sich zu binden. Dies gefährdet die Existenz der Vereine, die meist auf ehrenamtlichen Strukturen basieren. Die Nutzung digitaler Technologien kann dazu beitragen, die Probleme, mit denen Vereine in ihrer täglichen Praxis konfrontiert sind, zu überwinden. Um Vereinen digitale Anwendungen zur Verfügung stellen zu können, die deren spezifische Bedürfnisse erfüllen sowie die Akzeptanz einer breiten Nutzerschaft erfahren, eignet sich der Co-Creation-Ansatz. Nach dieser partizipativen Methodik wurde zur Unterstützung des Vereinswesens in Spiegelau und Frauenau im Pilotprojekt „Digitales Dorf Spiegelau – Frauenau“ in enger Zusammenarbeit mit zwei Test-Vereinen eine Vereins App konzipiert, entwickelt und erprobt, die die vereinsinterne Information und Kommunikation als auch organisatorische Prozesse unterstützt.
