Abstract

Zusammenfassung Eine Finanzierung mit ESG-Link kann für Unternehmen eine kostengünstige Alternative zu etablierten Finanzierungsformen sein. Sie ist sowohl für die Working Capital-Finanzierung als auch für die Finanzierung von Ersatz- oder Erweiterungsinvestitionen geeignet. Voraussetzung ist, dass das Unternehmen das Thema Nachhaltigkeit strategisch verankert hat und die Daten für ein ESG-Audit zur Verfügung stehen. Der Weg zur Nachhaltigkeit zeichnet sich durch ein stufenartiges Vorgehen aus. Gelingt es einem Unternehmen, sich unter Nachhaltigkeitskriterien zu finanzieren, wirkt dies positiv auf die Marke, steigert die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und steigert letztendlich den Wert des Unternehmens. Die Glaubwürdigkeit und Außenwirkung der Unternehmen bezüglich Nachhaltigkeit werden ebenfalls positiv beeinflusst.
