Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die zunehmende Bedeutung digitaler BtB-Services ist in der heutigen Wirtschaft ein stark präsentes Phänomen. Ob in Medienberichten, Messen, Forschungspublikationen, XING- und LinkedIn-Posts oder in Werbung von Beratern und Agenturen: Beinahe ständig ist man mit Schlagwörtern wie „Digitalisierung“, „Industrie 4.0“, „digitale Transformation“, „digitale Services“ und dergleichen konfrontiert. In diesem Zusammenhang stellen sich gleich mehrere Fragen: Was verbirgt sich hinter diesen Buzzwords? Sind es nur kurzlebige Modebegriffe oder tatsächlich bedeutende Trends für Unternehmen? Welche Relevanz haben diese Themen für Unternehmen und ihre strategische Ausrichtung, was sind die strategischen Optionen, die sich Unternehmen bieten und was sind die Erfolgsfaktoren für die nachhaltige Implementierung?
