Abstract

Zusammenfassung Transferscouting ist ein neuartiger, holistischer Ansatz um Wissens- und Technologietransfer (WTT) nicht nur zu initiieren, sondern in allen seinen Phasen aktiv zu unterstützen. Auf der Grundlage von 45 Transferfällen aus dem Umfeld von zwei technischen Hochschulen in der Region Südbrandenburg/Lausitz werden erste Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse aus der Praxis mit diesem Ansatz geschildert und Empfehlungen abgeleitet. Die WTT-Aktivitäten im Transferscouting folgen dabei vier charakteristischen Mustern, die sich nach ihrem jeweiligen Auslöser differenzieren lassen. Die Transferaktivitäten nehmen 6 bis 12 Monate in Anspruch, wobei besonders dann, wenn Unternehmen aktiv werden, diese Zeitspanne kürzer ausfällt. Professionalität im Sinne von schnellem Reagieren und angemessenem Handeln der Scouts sind die zentralen Erfolgsfaktoren für die Transferaktivitäten. Für innovative Hochschulen ist die Chance durch Transferscouting komplexe und interdisziplinäre Transferfälle zu initiieren ein wesentlicher Vorteil, der es ihnen ermöglicht ihren wichtigen Rollen im Strukturwandel gerecht zu werden und ihre „Dritte Mission“ zu erfüllen.
