Abstract

Zusammenfassung Klimaneutralität im Jahr 2050 ist möglich, sie muss aber durch eine soziale Komponente abgefedert sein. Keine gesellschaftliche Gruppe darf durch diesen Umbau unserer Wirtschaft benachteiligt werden. Die Gestaltung einer CO2-freien Wirtschaft generiert großes Nachfragevolumen und damit Wirtschaftswachstum für Deutschland. Der Fahrplan dorthin wird bereits in weiten Teilen u.a. mit dem Klimaschutzprogramm der Bundesregierung umgesetzt. Für die weitere Gestaltung der Energiewende sind klare Rahmenbedingungen für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft notwendig. Die Wirtschaft entwickelt einen starken Antrieb, die Klimaziele anzugehen. Wir sind international mitten im Prozess der Umsetzung der Pariser Klimaziele bis zur Mitte des Jahrtausends. Unser Land hat das Potential, hierbei erfolgreich zu sein und globale Marktpotenziale zu erschließen – Dekarbonisierung muss nach den Bundestagswahlen im neuen Koalitionsvertrag verbindlich verankert werden.
