Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Einfluss der forschenden pharmazeutischen Industrie auf entscheidende Erfolgsfaktoren für die Soziale Marktwirtschaft ist hoch, nicht nur unter Pandemie-Bedingungen: attraktive Arbeitsplätze, Innovationskraft, globale Wettbewerbsfähigkeit, der Beitrag zur wirtschaftlichen Gesamtleistung und ihre Bedeutung für die Gesundheitsversorgung machen die forschenden Arzneimittelhersteller zur Schlüsselindustrie. Die Rahmenbedingungen für weitere Investitionen sowohl in den Markt als auch in die soziale Balance haben indes noch Potenziale, die durch spezifische politische Weichenstellungen gehoben werden könnten.
